Lucky Number 30!

Hey there!  It's been a while since I've written here - haven't really had the opportunity to bake. Well, at least up until my brother turned 30!  However, I couldn't bake for his actual birthday, I was too busy with work - but he still got an awesome cake, because we threw him a SURPRISE party!  and yes, he was surprised!!

We went with a casino theme, with playing cards everywhere, dice, poker chips, etc.  I was originally asked by my sister in law to create dice cakes...but I wanted something a bit more challenging.  So I made him a big 30 (plus it was another chance to rub it in his face that he was turning 30!).  So I saw an awesome cake and modeled mine after it...and then made bite sized dice cakes.  They took FOREVER (literally..FOUR HOURS!) but everyone loved it!  What do you think?
