I know it is a little early...but it is practically Christmas Eve (day!), and since everyone, especially me will be running around tomorrow to do some last minute shopping- I figured I would wish you all a very Merry Christmas early!
Here are some Gingerbread houses my best friend and I made. I went a more colorful, patterned house. This is actually the first time since Kindergarten that I have made a Gingerbread house, and I think it is going to become a new tradition for me! Anyways...keeping it short and sweet today...have a VERY MERRY, JOYFUL, & LOVING CHRISTMAS!! :)
BAKE ON!

Gotta love sweets!
As I mentioned in my last blog post- I got a new job! WOOOHOOO! I start on Monday, and I am really really excited! However, I am super sad to be leaving my current jobs...Yes, I currently hold 3 other jobs and I end them all this this week. Tomorrow is my last day at my current internship (I was a Business Development Intern), Saturday is my last day as a hostess at a FANTASTIC restaurant, and next week- I leave my other job as a Marketing Assistant for a FABULOUS interior designer (She really is fabulous!)
I really hate saying goodbye- even when I know it is just "see you later," but it's not the same as seeing the same people every day or every week- I am going to miss everyone at my jobs. They are all so sweet and definitely contribute to the amount of smiling I do in a day-- and I smile A LOT! So as a goodbye "don't hate me for leaving" gift- I baked and am baking for all of my jobs! For the restaurant, I made mini cupcakes last week for everyone! They went fast! Tomorrow, I am bringing in peanut butter filled brownies (my supervisor loves the combo). And next week- I am baking a plethora of Christmas Cookies that I am going to wrap up all pretty and leave (like Santa) for all of my co-workers as a THANK YOU! Because I would not be where I am today and I would not be going where I am if it weren't for all of them!
Anyways- think about who has helped you get where you are today, and thank them next time...even if it's with a cupcake! Everyone loves sweets! BAKE ON!

It's been a while!
Sorry I disappeared for about a week! It has been hectic here- got a new job! Yayyyy big girl job now! And so I've been focusing on tying up loose ends and what not! But in the meantime, I have received 2 cake orders (WOOOHOOO another $50 to the USO)! This week's cake was for a Miami Dolphin's fan who is also a member of SU's Department of Public Safety!
It was an interesting and fun cake to make- I don't think the Dolphin was as fierce as the actual logo- BUT I was the one making it, and I don't think I can make anything mean or fierce! Unless I was really really angry :) Which isn't often! Check it out below and let me know your thoughts- there is also a police badge for our DPS officer! (Don't miss Syracuse's FREEZING weather- there is 2 feet of snow there! brrrr)
And remember- for each cake order I receive until now until the end of the month $25 will be donated to the USO- Operation Care Package. If you are personally interested in donating- check out their website:http://www.uso.org/operation-uso-care-package.aspx And get excited- it's Christmas Cookie Season and time for some Gingerbread Houses!
Happy Holidays and BAKE ON!
